Terms and Conditions of Rental
BY BOOKING YOU AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Acceptance and Confirmation of your Booking is subject to the following conditions:-
1. Booking Deposit:
A non-refundable booking deposit of €150 per holiday home per week, or weekend rental is required. No invoice or letter of confirmation can be dispatched to you until all deposits have been received. A 5% Online Booking Deposit has already been deducted from your Credit Card and the remainder of the €150 booking deposit will be taken within 3 days of the booking. A booking is only secured after the complete deposit of €150 has been received.
2. Balance of Payment:
Full payment of Holiday Home rental must be made to us, no later than four weeks prior to the rental commencement date. Late payment may result in the Holiday Home booking(s) being cancelled without advance client notification. We will notify you when this payment is due. In the event that you make your booking less than three weeks prior to your stay the full amount is payable on booking.
3. Cancellation Policy:
In the event that you wish to cancel your Holiday Home reservation, the following charges apply.
- on all reservations Booking Deposit of €150 is withheld
- 6-2 weeks before date of arrival 50% of rental.
- Less than 2 weeks before arrival date??.. 100%
4. Security Deposit:
A refundable security deposit of €100 per house must be paid on arrival. The Holiday Home is inspected on departure and if there is no damage to the house and all utility costs (ie. Electricity ?7 per night) are paid the deposit is returned in full. Failure to leave the accommodation in a clean and tidy condition may result in the loss of some or all of the security deposit.
5. Arrival and Departure Times:
Arrival can be from Saturday 4pm onwards and departure time is 10am at the latest the following Saturday. The reason for the 10am departure time is that the Holiday Home has to be cleaned etc. by 4pm for the next customer. Your full co-operation will be appreciated.
6. Towels
Towels are provided in the Holiday Cottages but it is advisable to bring extra towels as there is a charge for additional towels.
7. Right to Decline:
Sean Og's Holiday Homes reserves the right to refuse, alter or cancel booking,
even after receipt of final payment. In additional, the company is relieved of all liability should reserved accommodation not be suitable due to circumstances beyond our control. In such an instance, alternative arrangements will be made in similar accommodation, or a full refund will be given. However, no refund or liability will apply to a situation where a client is requested to vacate, or leaves of their own accord, prior to the expiration of the booking.
8. Behaviour: Sean Og's Holiday Homes reserves the right to terminate this contract if the behaviour or conduct of the Customer either prior to or during the holiday is likely to endanger the safety or well being or disrupt the comfort in any way of other Customers in the party or other Customer/Staff in the Holiday Village.
9. Accommodation Capacity: For insurance reasons, the total number of clients staying in each holiday home must not exceed the maximum capacity.
10. Pets: Pets are not permitted in any holiday homes. Exception made for Guide Dogs.
11. Liability: Sean Og's Holiday Homes shall not be liable for any damages, loss, or personal injury which may be sustained by persons or property at any time during the reserved stay.
12. Complaints: In the unlikely event of a complaint, it should be brought to the attention of the complex manager immediately.
13. Special Requests: Requests for cots, highchairs must be made at time of reservation and whilst we will endeavour to meet all special requests, they cannot be guaranteed. Cot linen not supplied.
14. Utility Charges: The only utility charge payable is Electricity. We charge €7 per night but if you exceed this cost an additional charge will occur, ESB is used for your lighting, heating, cooking and hot water. In the event that you leave without paying Electricity we reserve the right to deduct the amount payable from your Credit Card.
